JCI Wisconsin Jaycees along with the Oshkosh Jaycees will be hosting the annual Sands Magic and Variety Show at the Oshkosh Elks Lodge #292 on Thursday, October 25th at 6:30pm. The Oshkosh Elks Lodge is located at 175 W. Fernau Ave. The show will last approximately 1 and ½ hours and doors will open one hour before the performance.
Admission is $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets go on sale at the gate on show day, one hour before the performance.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2nd Annual Trivia Night at Omarro’s last night! It was a great turnout with some serious yet fun competition. Congrats to Silence is Golden, Duct Tape is Sticky on taking home the first place win, Sarah Bellum for finishing out in second, and the Widowmakers on winning our best costume contest.

Throughout the year, the Oshkosh Jaycees have organized community events like the Easter Egg Hunt and Children’s Day Parade, and have held fundraising projects like Brews ‘n Blues and the upcoming Trivia Night. It is now the time of year when we begin the process of distributing the funds we have raised back to the Oshkosh area. If your group or project is in need of financial support and it makes a significant impact on the Oshkosh community, we may be able to help. Please take a moment to review the RFP application. The first 2013 BNB committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 6th at Becket’s at 6:00 pm. During this meeting, we will be making the final decisions on what BNB will be like in 2013, so if you would like to include your thoughts and opinions, please plan to attend.
