Easter Egg Hunt Attracts Hundreds
The Oshkosh Jaycees 11th annual Oshkosh Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at South Park, was a huge success. Over 700 children and their families attended the free event.
Children were able to participate in activities such as a coloring contest, face painting, a jump castle, touring a police car and fire truck, and getting pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.
Each child got to pick one egg during the hunt and return it for a prize. All children received a goodie bag stuffed with toys, candy and coupons. Nine children received special prizes – beach toys, art supplies, board games, Milwaukee Brewers tickets, EAA Airventure Museum tickets, and large stuffed animals.
Thank you to our major area sponsors, Sadoff Iron & Metal and Fox Valley Savings Bank; our small area sponsors, AIA Corporation and Oshkosh Corporation; our many in-kind sponsors; and all of our participants. Next year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 23. To learn more, call the Oshkosh Jaycees at 920-385-9231 or email email@example.com.
